In the hinterland of Herceg Novi, at 320 meters above sea level, is the village of Trebesin. This picturesque village with a view towards the entrance of the Boka Bay was once rich with springs and water mills, the traces of which can still be seen.
The Tripković household is located 4 kilometres from Meljine, on the way towards Trebinje. It can be reached after a two hour hike from Igalo, which some of the guests do. Their family house from 1908 was renovated in a traditional style and the tavern was adapted for the reception of visitors. Currently they can serve up to 100 people inside and on a terrace overlooking the Bay.
In addition to apartments, the resort comprises a village threshing floor, tavern, family olive grove stretching over one hectare of the estate, as well as a swimming pool that is reserved for real hedonists. The entire resort meets the highest standards of rural and gastro tourism.
In this sleepy green village, you can enjoy specialties of the Mediterranean and Luštica local cuisine while drinking local wines, brandies and liqueurs made from indigenous plant species from Luštica.
For curious visitors that are willing to explore the environment, the Klinci Village Resort has prepared an interesting attraction – the game “Treasure Hunt“, or the first Escape Room in Montenegro. Embark in a historical story that takes you two hundred years back and try to solve ten mysteries in order to get to the hidden treasure. This game is of educational and entertaining character and is designed for anyone who wants to learn more about the history and tradition of this charming place.
There are two Orthodox churches in the village, church of St. Sava and St. Michael the Archangel (Sv. Arhanđela Mihaila), dating from 1799 and 1670. Villagers are happy to make visitors familiar with their religious and cultural heritage and thus the churches are open for visits throughout the year.
