Hamlet Bare in Grahovo, where the farm of the Bulajić family is situated, is 300 meters away by gravel road from the main road Risan-Nikšić. The village preserved its ambiance, and through it once passed the old road for the neighbouring villages of Cuce and Kobilji Do.

The agricultural potentials of the Grahovo area, which is at an altitude of 700 meters, were recognized by the Bulajić family. Đorđe, his wife Anita and their three school-age sons are actively involved in the production and cultivation of organic certified vegetables. In a traditional way and without the use of pesticides, they produce a wide range of vegetables and fruits. A special advantage in preserving the quality of the product is proximity of the coast (only a 20-minute drive), which becomes an important market during the tourist season.

They are especially proud of the products for which Grahovo is known: carrots, beet and potatoes. Swiss chard, lettuce, onion, garlic, arugula, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, plums, cornelian cherry, pears, apples and strawberries are also grown. All vegetables and fruits are available fresh or are stored in an old family stone house which is adapted for that purpose. Old tools that the family once used in everyday life and agriculture are exhibited in the house, while some of these works are today replaced with modern machinery.

The hosts are always willing, during announced visits of groups up to 25 people, to present the history of Grahovo and their family, and take a tour of their farm with guests and show them their crops of fruits and vegetables. The guests can choose and pick the fruits by themselves that will later be prepared. All specialties are prepared at home and we especially recommend: nettle soup or pie, smoked ham, roasted lamb, grilled vegetables from the garden, domestic donuts, corn bread, homemade bread, cornelian cherry juice or juice made from freshly pressed vegetables, organic corn, plum jam as well as homemade wine from the nearby Dabović winery and organic goat cheese from the Miljanić family farm.

Grahovo is today rich with water, which is obtained through the irrigation system via the natural water level fall from the lake, but this was not the situation in the time period of the next two stories. One story is about Džemetovac water – a well dating from the Ottoman period and which today serves as a cistern. The story is from the beginning of the 18th century when the Turks held Grahovo, and Džamet Beg ruled it. He fell in love with the local beauty Milica, the daughter of the Bulajić Prince, and our host Đorđe belongs to the same brotherhood. Milica reluctantly promised to marry Beg if he builds a well in her village Bare and brings water from the source of Grahovska River. She believed that impossible because the spring was more than six kilometres away from the village. Beg fulfilled his promise and on the day of releasing water into the well, people gathered to celebrate this great event. When Milica realised that the Beg in love made his promise, and not wanting to marry him, she jumped into the well and killed herself.

Also, there is an old well on the farm which was built in drywall technique and it is 7 meters deep. Its end on the surface is of a circular shape and is made from a single piece of stone. The laborious job of making this well, which is still in function, Đorđe's great grand-father had to pay with 2 oxen.

If you like camping, you can set up your tent in the yard, while construction of bungalows is planned.
